Treatment of eczema is really a regimen, and use of an
appropriate emollient is integral part of eczema management.
Guidelines
recommend the consistent and liberal use of emollients and skin protectants for

eczema; their use may even reduce the need for topical corticosteroid
use.
Emollients and skin protectants help soften the texture
of skin and relieve severe itching due to excessive dryness. Emollients also add
